The concept behind this site is that when you organise an event you need to supply people with all sorts of information such as the date, time, venue, dress code, facilities available etc. There are many ways to do this of course from posters to individual invitations, but people will always want more information than you are able to give in the invitation so will contact you directly.

At infoccasion we use the internet to give out all the information people could need about your event, taking much of the strain away from you. This means that your guests/clients will be able to access the information 24 hours a day from anywhere in the world (so long as they have access to the web and basic computer skills).

You simply give us details of the event - date, time, venue and anything else that people may need to know and we publish the details on our web pages, accessed by a username and password which you can give to your guests/clients.

Typically, we would publish the details of a wedding, where it is, when it is, dress code, accommodation nearby, when food will be available and other places to eat before or afterwards, when the reception is etc. When you send out the invitations you would add, 'for more information, please visit the website www.infoccasion.com/nameofevent. You will be asked for a username which is xxxxx and the password is yyyyy.' Once these have been entered correctly, the user will have access to the information about that specific event.

As an example, return to the 'Home' page, then click on the 'Weddings' button to see what we did for a wedding earlier this year. As you can see in the example, we supplied information about the date and time of the event, details of how to get there, complete with very specific information about signs which were put up just a couple of days before the event. There is also information about accommodation and food and drink facilities near the venue, near the brides' parents and near the groom's parents, with web links to the accommodation where possible. An important point here is that as information about availability of accommodation becomes available it too can be put on to the web site so that your guests/clients don't all contact the same places only to find that someone else got there first! There is also a link to the Gift list, which although out of our control, will always be up to date, and as in this case we are able to provide more detailed information about what the bride and groom wanted. The pages of the site are decorated with relevant pictures, and the background design was exactly the same as the wedding invitations sent out to guests.

After the event, we changed some of the pages into a picture gallery, putting small versions of pictures with reference numbers, taken by the official photographer on to the site with prices and contact details of the photographer for the guests to view, relive the day and buy photos if desired.
